Safety driving is very important to vehicle drivers. According to the wall street, the engineers of Toyota safety research center said daily twelve teens die in accidents and yearly it is 5,000 members. So manufacturing industries are doing research on safety driving issues for cut down of the accidents.

Toyota motors is doing research on these safety issues regarding car driving, they are collaborating with universities in this research. Their main objective of the research is to prevent the accidents and reduce the driving distractions.

Many universities are working with Toyota research group. North America universities are working on this safety research with Toyota research group and many universities have even collaborated with Toyota like Virginia university, university of Michigan, Michigan technological university, Massachusetts institute of technology and Virginia polytechnic university.

Toyota is doing this research since five years and has spent more than 50 million dollars. Many manufacturing companies are doing safety research themselves but collaborating with universities is a new idea, which is being done by the Toyota. They are publishing their study reports at press conferences and these studies are available to every one.
