Italian car maker Maserati has officially announced that it is entering the Indian auto market and will be selling its entire range of cars in India. Maserati has partnered with Shreyans group to sell its cars in India and the company is going to open its first show room in Mumbai and in the next year other show room will be opened in New Delhi. The company aims to have a solid presence in at least seven major cities with individual dealerships and full service network by the end of 2015. The company is aiming to sell around 20 to 25 cars this year and hopes to achieve triple digit sales figures by next year. India is the 63rd market where the Maserati is selling its cars.

Maserati GranTurismo

Cars in this line up are available in 4.2 liter and 4.7 liter petrol engines in different states of tune. Maserati has different models in its line up like Maserati Quattroporte is a luxury four door saloon which has 4.7L V8 engine. Maserati GranTurismo also has 4.2 litre V8 engine which is first introduced in 2007. Maserati GranCabrio is another model and is a two door, has 4.7 L engine. Prices of these models depends on the type and the starting price is Rs 1.20 crore for the GranTurismo 4.2, the most costlier car in this line up is Maserati GranCabrio 4.7 with a price tag of Rs 1.43 crore.
