There are many luxury car makers operating in the Indian market like Audi, BMW, Benz and the latest luxury car to be launched in India is the new Continental GT 4 seat Coupe from the Bentley stable. This car is built on GT platform and is faster than its predecessor with 567bhp and 71.3kgm of torque.

2011 Continental GT gets a boost in horsepower (567 horse power and 516 pound feet), from its 6.0 liter twin turbo W12 engine. It has new six speed quick shift transmission which reduces gear change times by 50 percent. It reaches a top speed of 197mph in 4.6 seconds. To keep that power in the right place, the rear track is wider. The all wheel drive system in this model can adjust the power split instantaneously between the front and rear wheels depending on the available grip. This all wheel drive system is coupled with the upgraded electronic stability control system to ensure a quality drive.

Exteriors of the car has also undergone some changes like prominent front fender lines that roll over the headlights, a more pronounced grille treatment that asserts itself into the lower intake, LED running lamps surrounding the main headlight elements, a double horseshoe rear end treatment etc. Interiors of the car are entirely hand crafted and the interiors includes eight inch touchscreen interface, dynamic navigation and Google Maps, climate controlled Cobra seats, leather lined door pouches etc. Its price is Rs 1.9 crore. This car can be run on biothenol, petrol or combination of the two.
