New Jersey – It was the worst hit state with more than two million people without power. People had to stand in long queues for filling gas. Public transport remained closed. Nearly 1.9 million people were without power.

North Carolina – Death toll was two. Emergency was declared for twenty four counties in the western part of the state due to snowfall.

Virginia – Death toll is two and about 55,000 people were without electricity. The state received heavy snowfall.

Maine – Nearly 16,000 people were out of power.

Maryland – Death toll is two and about 122,000 people were without power.

District of Columbia – About 1,461 people were without power.

Massachusetts – Around 108,000 people were out of power.

Ohio – Nearly 151,000 businesses and homes were out of power.

New Hampshire -About 81,000 people were without power.

Rhode Island – About 64,000people were without power.

West Virginia – One person dies due to the storm and nearly 239,000 people were out of power.
