Tata Motors Increased their Sales with 3% in August 2011


Tata motors is happy with its globally increased sales growth rate, it increased its global sales growth rate at 3%. It has sold 87,459 units globally, including Jaguar and Land Rover, with 3% sales growth for the August, 2011 which is more than the last year sales. The cumulative sales for the fiscal year 2011-2012 is 4,38,70 higher than the last fiscal year.

Tata motors commercial vehicles are continuing their performance. The commercial motor category has got the 17% sales growth for August 2011. The total sales of commercial vehicles including Tata Daewoo and Tata Hispano Carrocera for the August 2011 is 48,023 vehicles.

Tata passenger cars are continuing their sales performance. They got the 11% sales growth improvement for the August period with the sale of 39,436 units. The cumulative sales of Tata passenger cars for August 2011 is 2,12,599 units. Tata model Fiat car also got the 35% negative sales growth with 18,194 units sold.

Tata model cars Jaguar got the negative sales growth. Its sales showed 23% decline and sold 3,409 units but the Land Rover sales growth increased extremely to 43%.

Tata motors overall sales growth is positive, the performance of few brands are extremely well in the market. Indian market is proving good for the Tata motors. Tata motors commercial and passenger category vehicles are doing well in the Indian market.
