{"id":306,"date":"2010-10-05T04:28:37","date_gmt":"2010-10-05T11:28:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/major-new-developments.com\/major-new\/?p=306"},"modified":"2010-10-05T04:28:37","modified_gmt":"2010-10-05T11:28:37","slug":"executives-reticent-to-employ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/major-new-developments.com\/major-new\/2010\/10\/executives-reticent-to-employ\/","title":{"rendered":"Executives Reticent to Employ: US Chamber of Commerce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The small to medium-sized business executives in US are remaining reticent to employ and there is a drop in their expectation about the rate of US growth, according to a survey by US Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The executives are still planning to decrease layoffs, the following year, as per the coordinators of the Vistage CEO Confidence Index.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>From the last survey, 44 percent of CEOs were planning to expand their workforce was steady.<\/li>\n<li> About 9 percent of the executives are planning layoffs in the preceding 12 months. It was the lowest level ever in the past 3 years.<\/li>\n<li> Around 47 percent which is almost half were expecting to keep their employees number constant.<\/li>\n<li> There is a quarterly release of the Vistage CEO confidence Index by Vistage International, Inc., which is a CEO organization having headquarters at San Diego, Calif.<\/li>\n<li> As per the survery, the CEOs were expecting very few cuts in employment.
